The Patrol Division is the backbone of the Bar Harbor Mount Desert Police Department, providing 24/7 law enforcement services to our communities. Our officers are dedicated to maintaining public safety, responding to emergencies, and building positive relationships with community members.

Traffic Safety
Our officers enforce traffic laws to ensure the safety of drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists throughout Bar Harbor and Mount Desert.

We investigate criminal activity to bring justice to victims and maintain the safety of our community.
